Eligibility
The proposed rules for who may enter, where they must live and play, and how winner eligibility would be verified.
Proposed NSW-only launch eligibility · Final legal review requiredProposed core requirements
Under the proposed NSW-only launch rules, a person must:
- be at least 18 years old when entering, purchasing an official attempt, starting and completing an official run, and claiming a prize;
- be an ordinary resident of New South Wales, meaning NSW is their genuine principal home rather than a temporary address used to enter;
- be physically present in New South Wales when purchasing an official attempt and when starting and completing an official run;
- use their own account and provide accurate registration, payment and eligibility information;
- affirmatively accept the final Terms, General Game Rules and current Competition Schedule;
- not be an excluded person and not be prohibited by applicable law.
If a later reviewed Schedule adds another jurisdiction, it must state the residence and physical-location checkpoints that apply there.
Proposed eligible states and territories
A global or public practice leaderboard does not expand prize eligibility. Once published, the official Competition Schedule will control. If a Schedule does not list a state or territory, residents of that jurisdiction may not purchase or use official attempts for that competition.
Proposed excluded people
The following people would not be eligible for an official competition:
- directors, officers or employees of the PrizeRun operator;
- contractors or advisers materially involved in designing, operating, verifying or judging that competition;
- immediate family members or household members of those people;
- any person with access to confidential course, timing, security or winner information that creates an unfair advantage;
- any person subject to a current, proportionate interim suspension imposed under the final Rules, with prompt notice and review, or otherwise prohibited by law.
If a person is prevented from using purchased attempts during an interim review and is later cleared, the final policy must preserve or restore the affected unused attempts or provide an appropriate remedy.
Eligibility and winner verification
Under the final policy, PrizeRun may request proportionate evidence such as government-issued proof of age, a document showing ordinary residence, account and payment ownership, and secure location evidence. The collection notice must identify the legal operator and explain what is required, why, usual disclosures, how it will be checked and retained, and how to make a privacy request.
A provisional winner who does not provide reasonable verification within 14 days of notice, or the longer period in the Schedule, may lose eligibility only after the stated reasonable contact attempts, consideration of genuine accessibility or document-replacement issues, and completion of any timely internal review. The Schedule must state those contact methods and any extension process before entry opens.
Identity documents must not be sent through the general Support form unless PrizeRun provides secure, purpose-specific instructions.
Location, VPNs and one-player accounts
Do not use a VPN, proxy, location-spoofing tool or another person’s address to appear eligible. Normal privacy tools are not prohibited for practice, but an official entry may be rejected if PrizeRun cannot reasonably verify the required location.
One person may maintain one entrant account unless PrizeRun approves an accessibility or account-recovery exception. A person must complete their own official run. Account sharing, duplicate accounts and proxy play are prohibited.
Changes to eligibility
PrizeRun may propose expanding future competitions to other Australian jurisdictions only after reviewing the relevant mechanics and laws and updating the Competition Schedule before entry opens. A jurisdiction must not be removed from an open competition retrospectively unless legally required and affected entrants receive an appropriate remedy.
Once an operational support channel exists, questions about unusual residence, relocation, border travel or accessibility should be resolved before purchasing an official attempt.
